On Tuesday, we held our annual CVMS Veterans Day Ceremony. The ceremony featured student performances, a Q&A session with a current WHS NJROTC cadet, a sharing of veterans connected to our CVMS family, and a tribute to the veterans in attendance. Thank you to everyone who participated and attended the ceremony. ❤️💙
🌟🌟We loved celebrating Coach Govea last week as our Staff Member of the Week! Coach Govea is the backbone of our P.E. and Athletics programs, leading with dedication, enthusiasm, and heart. Her passion for her work and her student-athletes is evident in everything she does. The Canyon is a better place because of her commitment and leadership. Congratulations, Coach Govea! 🐎❤️

Coats for Kids Coat Drive - Nov. 11- Dec. 3rd
This will be a friendly competition between the Advisory classes to collect the most gently used coats or a $20 donation to Coats for Kids to buy a new coat for a child in need.
Students should turn in gently used or new winter coats to their Advisory teachers no later than December 3rd. To donate online, go to:https://www.jlaustin.org/coats and click “Donate Now” or text “GIVEATX” to 243725.
Don’t forget to indicate Canyon Vista AND your child’s advisory teacher’s name to receive credit!
