History Bee

The Canyon Vista School-Wide History Bee will be held in the Lecture Hall on Friday January 19th at 8:30 a.m. Students who are interested in participating must sign up by December 21; students can sign up by adding their information to this survey. Absences from classes to participate in the Bee will be excused. Students will be responsible for any work missed. The National History Bee provides PDF of study materials for anyone who wants to participate. Although there will be one school champion, additional students may qualify for the regional competition based on online qualifying exam and grade level. The regional event will be held in Austin on March 13th, 2018, at a time and location to be determined later and may require registration costs for participants. Geography Olympiad

In conjunction with the Canyon Vista History Bee on Friday January 19, students will be offered an opportunity to take the US Geography Olympiad/International Geography Bee Qualifying test for $25.
